Some Notes From Last Night
1. The Avengers is fantastic, go see it.
2. Although I didn’t want to see it in 3D (and wouldn’t necessarily recommend it if you have a choice), it actually wasn’t terrible and was projected at an appropriate brightness. Didn’t add to the experience but also didn’t take away. No headache.
3. The Amazing Spider-Man’s new trailer looked spectacular in 3D and will definitely see it in 3D. You can see the amount of care that went into it.
4. It was cool to know Showplace has switched some of its screens to 4k projectors. Possibly in anticipation for The Hobbit…I think that will be shown in 4k at 48fps…
Genius. I will own this when it’s released for Android. I will be fit as fuck.
